Calm turquoise sea meeting a quiet sandy shore

Mankwadze · Ghana

Where the coast slows down

A boutique collection of private villas on Ghana's Central Region coast, an easy drive from Accra.

The Resort

Quiet, unhurried, and close to the sea

Outskirts is a boutique resort in Mankwadze, a beach community just beyond the reach of the city. Days here follow the tide: a swim before breakfast, long lunches in the shade, and evenings gathered around the fire.

Each villa is designed for privacy and ease, with outdoor living spaces, natural finishes and the attentive care of a team who know the coast by heart.

Dining

MoN

Open-air dining by the sea

MoN sits just back from the sand, open to the sea breeze on every side. Tables spill out beneath the palms, the kitchen fires up as the tide comes in, and the sound of the waves sets the pace of every meal.

The menu follows the morning's catch: grilled lobster, prawns and red snapper landed by local fishermen a few hundred metres away, alongside Ghanaian favourites, wood-fired dishes and tropical fruit at its ripest.

Reserve a table

Fresh from the boats

Seafood bought daily from the fishing community along our shore.

Open-air setting

Steps from the beach, with the ocean in view from every table.

Breakfast to late

Slow breakfasts, long lunches and candlelit dinners under the stars.
